Summary:
The primary function of this position is to perform maintenance work on existing manufacturing equipment, maintain and build new equipment and tools, and work with each department to ensure the highest quality product is produced.
Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM
Wage:
$38-$40/HR DOE
Responsibilities
Ensure smooth and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities by troubleshooting and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings.
Perform maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Perform routine inspections of machines and equipment to ensure proper function. Recommend and perform repairs as needed.
Spot check equipment after it has been repaired to ensure the job was done correctly.
Make sure all PM’s are getting completed as scheduled.
Implement improvements to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address equipment-related issues and optimize manufacturing processes.
Conduct safety inspections and ensure maintenance activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Occasional forklift operation.
Fabricate necessary repair components as needed to get machines up and running in a timely fashion.
Work with other departments as necessary to ensure high quality and efficient production.
Follow all safety protocols.
Champion an overall culture of teamwork and cooperation between locations and departments.
Provide assistance in all areas with a can‑do attitude.
Demonstrate and uphold values: Service, Quality, and Integrity.
Marginal Duties
Assist in production areas as requested.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.
Competencies Required
Ability to create and maintain relationships.
High level of attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license.
Welding/Cutting Metal experience.
Electrical knowledge.
Vertical mill experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to read, and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Ability to perform basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Logical thinker.
Strong problem‑solving ability.
Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required, and minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties as listed above.
