We’re growing in Southwest Missouri! Socket Fiber is looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused

Technical Operations Supervisor

to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the key connection between our customers, field technicians, and dispatch—making sure every installation is seamless, on time, and delivers an outstanding experience. Location: The individual in this role will work from our Southwest Missouri location. Key Responsibilities

Provide direction, supervision, and management over the residential and network technicians. Oversee scheduling of service calls, outages, and preventive maintenance activities. Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards. Act as an escalation point for complex service or network issues. Troubleshoot and coordinate solutions for outages, equipment failures, and customer-impacting issues. Enforce safety policies and OSHA requirements during field and technical operations. Work closely with customer service, engineering, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for large-scale builds or special projects. Support senior management with planning for network expansion, upgrades, and new services. Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to build a strong, skilled team. Desired Attributes

Experience in telecommunications operations, installation, fiber splicing, or network construction Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, during outages or emergencies Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, work in outdoor conditions, and climb ladders if necessary Preferences

3+ years of leadership experience Extensive operations experience, specifically in installation Bachelor’s Degree Why Join Us
