Overview The Quality Control Manager is responsible for ensuring that all products meet established quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. This role oversees quality assurance processes, manages testing protocols, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures.
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
Conduct inspections, audits, and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
Investigate and resolve quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Maintain accurate documentation of quality control activities and prepare reports for management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, R&D, supply chain) to ensure quality objectives are met.
Train and mentor staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
Stay current with industry regulations, certifications, and quality trends.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within manufacturing or food/nutrition industries.
Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, GMP, HACCP).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
