We are seeking a results‑driven Yard Manager to lead daily operations at one of our rail yard locations. This is a fast‑paced, high‑volume leadership role for a self‑starter who thrives outdoors and takes ownership of people, equipment, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead yard personnel to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals
Oversee daily yard operations, logistics, and material flow
Ensure safe operation and oversight of loaders, forklifts, cranes, and related equipment
Maintain accurate inventory control and yard organization
Enforce OSHA standards and company safety policies
Requirements
5+ years of leadership experience in industrial or yard operations
Strong heavy equipment experience and a hands‑on leadership approach
Ability to lead with minimal direction and guide the yard foreman and labor teams
Coordination of logistics and ensuring safe, efficient handling of rail materials
Alignment with company objectives and safety standards
