Job Title Delivery Driver – Merchandiser – Sales Consultant
Role Overview Reporting to the Transportation Supervisor, the Delivery Driver‑Merchandiser‑Sales Consultant will be responsible for ensuring efficient product delivery, exceptional store presentation, and strong customer relationships that drive sales growth across retail and hospitality accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities
Delivery & Driving
Safely operate company vehicles to deliver a variety of alcoholic beverages to retail outlets, bars, restaurants, and other hospitality venues.
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time while following company protocols and compliance with state and federal alcohol distribution laws.
Load, unload, and verify deliveries according to customer orders, invoices, and quality control standards.
Merchandising & Product Presentation
Organize and restock product displays, ensuring an attractive and well‑stocked presentation that aligns with brand guidelines and marketing standards.
Build custom product displays and promotional setups that enhance visibility and sales for key accounts.
Install point‑of‑sale signage and promotional materials to maximize product exposure and drive consumer interest.
Monitor product freshness, expiration dates, and rotation to ensure the highest quality products are always on display.
Sales & Customer Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers at liquor stores, bars, restaurants, and other alcohol retailers.
Identify new sales opportunities and proactively engage with customers to promote the company’s portfolio of products.
Provide top‑tier customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring clients are satisfied with their product selection and service.
Collaborate with the sales team to execute targeted promotions, tastings, and monthly sales programs to increase product sales.
Administrative & Compliance
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, sales, and inventory in alignment with company systems and procedures.
Handle payment collections, process orders, and manage invoices as needed.
Stay current on industry trends, product knowledge, and legal compliance, attending training sessions and sales meetings regularly.
Behavior & Communication Expectations
A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.

Proficient in sitting and driving for prolonged durations (up to 2‑hour segments).
Strong hand‑eye coordination for safe vehicle operation and package handling.
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Skilled in repetitive tasks using hand trucks, dollies, and loading ramps.
Able to sit and type on a computer or mobile device for extended periods when completing documentation or sales reports.
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years old with the ability to pass background and drug screenings upon hire and randomly throughout employment.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in sales, retail, merchandising, or distribution (wine and spirits industry experience is a plus).
Must hold a valid Class C driver’s license with reliable, insured transportation and maintain a driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
Strong customer service, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, GPS systems, and inventory tracking software.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable to changing work demands.
Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Local travel required, with occasional out‑of‑town travel and attendance at industry meetings.
TABC certification or equivalent for handling alcohol sales and distribution.
Additional Information Salary: $18 per hour + Driving Incentives
