Business Development Manager / Sales Executive – Multidisciplinary Services
Location: Houston or Irving, Texas

Altamira is a leading provider of environmental, asset integrity, engineering, GIS, and technical services across the energy, petrochemical, land development, and other targeted markets. We are seeking a proven and driven Business Development Executive to help lead sales in all of our service lines, with specific technical expertise in the Environmental, Air, and GIS service lines. This role is ideal for someone with a strong network and proven success in selling technical consulting services, particularly in these specialized areas.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in all Altamira service lines with emphasis on our Environmental, GIS, and Air Quality sectors.
Develop and execute targeted marketing strategies to promote Altamira’s capabilities in these domains.
Collaborate with technical leads, P&L sector leaders, and subject matter experts to shape proposals and ensure alignment with client needs.
Proposal & Contract Management
Lead proposal development efforts, including scope definition, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
Leverage CRM tools to manage leads, track progress, and report on individual sales funnel results in sustained and positive trending sales from your direct efforts.
Lead client management with identified targeted clients.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and regulatory agencies.
Represent Altamira at relevant conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand visibility and influence.
Work closely with all sector leaders to align business development efforts with technical capabilities.
Provide market feedback and insights to help shape service offerings and strategic direction.
Industry Awareness & Professional Growth
Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in Altamira’s service lines.
Maintain active memberships in relevant professional organizations.
Establish quarterly targets for lead generation, proposal success rate, and revenue growth in Environmental, GIS, and Air Quality domains.
Utilize market data and analytics to drive decision making and refine business development strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, GIS, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
5+ years of business development experience in environmental consulting and/or professional/technical services.
Proven track record of securing contracts and driving profitable revenue growth.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Familiarity with environmental regulations, permitting, and digital mapping technologies.
Experience with CRM platforms.
