This includes taking detailed photos of products ranging from small guitar parts to large amplifiers, uploading them to all sales platforms (MusicShop360, Reverb, eBay, Etsy), drafting listing details, determining appropriate pricing, and writing detailed descriptions with minimal supervision. This person will also assist with answering customer inquiries online, packaging and shipping orders, and providing in-store customer service as needed. Compensation

$13-$15/hr depending on experience; bi-annual raises and eventually sales commissions Schedule

20-30 hours per week with potential of up to 40 hours per week. Required Skills

Ability to identify and evaluate various guitar parts name, functionality, make/model, age, condition Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word and other PC & mobile applications. People skills, ability to work with customers, online, on the phone & in-store. Fastidious and thorough nature; eye for detail. Required Experience/Knowledge

Knowledgeable about 1970s-present guitar manufacturers. Passion for guitars & gear. Desired Skills

3+ years eCommerce selling experience. Product photography. Experience packing and shipping musical equipment. Experience working in retail / music stores. Desired Experience/Knowledge

Knowledgeable about 1960s-1980s Japanese guitar manufacturers. Knowledgeable about 1950s-present American guitar manufacturers. Managed a large eCommerce store of 500+ listings. Duties & Responsibilities

Take detailed photos of guitars, guitar parts, accessories, and pedals. Process images through editor to standardize sizes and apply watermark, adjust color levels, contrast, etc. Post photos into listings in MusicShop360 (RainPOS), Reverb & other places. Draft detailed product descriptions explaining the item, its condition, and sometimes its historical significance. Determine appropriate selling prices based on current market conditions and sales history. Copy listings from MusicShop360 to eBay and Etsy. Package and ship orders. Unpack and receive incoming inventory. Respond to messages about items online. Maintain and manage all aspects of eCommerce function. Ensure all incoming inventory is pictured and listed in a timely manner. Conduct periodic audits of inventory on the floor to confirm listings are current and accurate. 20% – Shop Assistance

Repackage parts as needed. Assist with inventory counts. Assist with customer service in store (answering phone, talking to customers, taking in repairs, trades, and consignments, purchasing customer inventory). Seniority level
