Associate Director in the Construction industry
CSG is partnered with a full‑scale glazing contractor and is actively seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic team. As a pivotal team member, you will oversee and coordinate projects to ensure successful completion within defined timeframes and cost parameters. Your responsibilities will span a diverse range of projects—including Curtain Walls, Window Walls, Storefronts, Metal Panels, and more—while you enjoy autonomy in handling daily tasks and participating in all project phases from design to completion.
Base Pay Range $80,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr
Responsibilities:
Administer Curtainwall projects of high rise buildings from pre‑construction budgeting/schedule stage through procurement, shop drawing/coordination development, construction, turnover, and contract closeout.
Coordinate the shop drawing and submittal process by collaborating with architects, engineers, drafters, and factory partners, including attendance at design meetings.
Obtain current structural drawings from the General Contractor and interface drawings from other trades for site use.
Establish Schedules of Values for projects, assist with monthly requisitions, change orders, and other project accounting duties.
Develop project schedules based on client requirements, factual durations, and lead times.
Coordinate material releases for fabrication in alignment with the project schedule.
Provide project design managers with details and sketches for non‑compliant conditions, including structural drawings and interfacing trade drawings for the curtain wall.
Obtain construction permits, follow job safety and insurance programs, and ensure the project complies with code and requirements.
Oversee and ensure all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields (Master’s degree is a plus).
General knowledge of the construction industry and its standard practices (preferred).
Knowledge of the curtainwall industry (a plus).
