Master Operations Technician/Butter Room

General Purpose
To follow set procedures of product production in a safe manner to ensure the product meets quality specifications set by the company to fulfill customer specifications..
Duties and Responsibilities
Looking for ways to improve the work area and environment.
Provide guidance to co-workers to help them better understand there job functions.
Ensure all product produced is within accepted specifications.
Maintain maximum efficiency of all equipment.
Perform random inspections of equipment after CIP.
Periodically check chemical strengths.
Maintain accurate and orderly production logs.
Notify supervisor of any problems that might come up.
If we are backed up in one area of the Butter Room help out.
Perform follow-up on SAP variance report and provide feedback.
Comply with SQF policies/procedures, DFA policies/procedures and maintain GMP's within areas assigned
Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble packaging equipment, churns, and piping in the butter room.
Adhere to all DFA Quality policies and procedures, reporting any nonconformity
Adhere to all DFA Safety policies and procedures, reporting any nonconformity
Adhere to all DFA GMP policies and procedures, reporting any nonconformity
Check all paperwork and inventory reports to insure accuracy.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications
High School Degree or Educational Equivalent.
Three years previous experience preferred in the following, Churn and Filler
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Basic math skills.
Full knowledge of the butter room
