ABA Behavior Technician III – Intercept Health Intercept Health is a family‑owned agency serving mental, behavioral, and substance‑use health needs across Virginia. The ABA Behavior Technician III provides direct behavioral therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults with autism and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

Provide direct behavioral therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults with autism and developmental disabilities in a center‑based program.

Promote language, behavioral, social, and daily living skills.

Assist in program development for 4–8 clients under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Document and report progress, maintain accurate data, and comply with all program policies.

Participate in professional development and ongoing training.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in behavioral science, psychology, sociology, counseling, or applied behavioral science preferred.

Experience working with children, preferably those with autism, intellectual, or developmental disabilities.

Must be in or have completed an approved ABA course sequence.

Current registered behavior technician credential required. If not credentialed, must successfully complete a 40‑hour class, competency assessment, and exam to become a registered behavior technician within 2 months of hire.

Signed contract with Intercept Health supervisors for fieldwork hours necessary.
