Seasonal Business Tax Expert

What You Will Do
Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products with sound professional judgment.
Provide tax advice, full service return preparation, tax calculations, and manage product/software inquiries.
Maintain sensitive customer information responsibly.
Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to locate and deliver accurate answers.
Interact with customers virtually using video communication software and document interactions to maintain accurate records.
Interact professionally while upholding Intuit’s values, including “integrity without compromise.”
What You Need
Strong business tax preparation experience (3+ years preparing federal and state business tax returns, 1065 and/or 1120‑S, at least 20 clients per season).
Active unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney.
Minimum 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience (30+ returns per year).
Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across at least three days.
Bookkeeping experience preferred.
Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry customers preferred.
Ability to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, or permits.
Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
Commitment to a minimum schedule of at least 20 hours per week (4‑hour shift increments).
Working knowledge of Circular 230.
Proficient with technology and solid computer operations knowledge.
Strong customer service skills; ability to interact with customers via video and audio tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Critical thinking, problem solving, research skills, and determination.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
Internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria.
Compensation
Bay Area, California: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
Southern California: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
Colorado: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
Hawaii: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
Illinois: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
Maryland: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
Massachusetts: $40.10 – $46.20 per hourMinnesota: $34.40 – $39.56 per hour
New Jersey: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
New York: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
Ohio: $34.40 – $39.56 per hour
