What You Will Do
Prepare and file complex partnership (1065) and S‑Corporation (1120‑S) tax returns accurately and on time.
Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to locate the right answers for customers and communicate them in plain, everyday language.
Interact with customers virtually using Intuit’s video communication software, documenting interactions to maintain accurate records.
Maintain sensitive customer and proprietary business information responsibly, reliably, and safely.
Promote Intuit’s operating values, including “integrity without compromise,” while interacting with customers and team members.
What You Need
Strong business tax preparation experience – 3+ years preparing federal and state business returns (1065 and/or 1120‑S) for at least 20 clients per season with commercial tax preparation software.
Active, unrestricted credential: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney.
Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, 30 returns per year in a tax practice or retail setting, strongly preferred.
Minimum 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
Bookkeeping experience and knowledge of moving books to tax preparation strongly preferred.
Experience preparing business returns for service‑industry customers strongly preferred.
Must possess or be able to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
Working knowledge of Circular 230.
Proficient with technology – solid knowledge of computer operations and software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service skills – ability to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional and friendly manner.
Critical thinking, problem solving, research skills, and determination.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
Internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria.
Compensation
Bay Area, California: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
Southern California: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
Colorado: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
Hawaii: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
Illinois: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
Maryland: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
Massachusetts: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
Minnesota: $34.40 – $39.56 per hour
New Jersey: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour

Ohio: $34.40 – $39.56 per hour
