The AS Business Consulting & Education (BCE) team creates and delivers industry‑leading consulting, benchmarking, thought leadership, and education programs that help advisors achieve their goals and gain competitive advantage. What you’ll do
As a key contributor of the Schwab Advisor Services BCE organization the Senior Manager is responsible for playing a hands‑on strategic and tactical ownership role in defining, developing, creating, and enhancing consulting programs—including in‑depth, action‑oriented content, tools, and resources—and executing day‑to‑day responsibilities, including managing program content, coordinating, delivering, and/or moderating key advisor BCE experiences and working with BCE partners and leaders to ensure successful execution of the overall program. Required Qualifications
7‑10 years of experience in program management and/or content development Bachelor’s degree Ability to translate complex inputs (market data, client/executive insights, industry research) into compelling stories and actionable programs of the highest quality Very strong content creation, written and verbal communication skills; ability to research, synthesize data, develop recommendations, influence partners, and report on status A ‘can‑do’, results‑oriented approach to business High attention to detail and strong project management skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and overcome obstacles Exceptional skill in understanding audience needs and create high‑impact, action‑oriented content and resources based on those needs Strength in understanding dependencies and anticipate downstream consequences Very strong PowerPoint skills Strong analytical problem‑solving skills Proven ability to work in a fast paced, iterative, and matrixed environment Desire to be part of a team that celebrates and advocates for each other Preferred Qualifications
Experience with marketing agency asset/content creation and development Experience serving the financial services industry, and/or an understanding of practice management and consulting MBA preferred Benefits
