Senior

Program Manager

to lead the AWS Career Development Program, ensuring alignment with our vision to create a clear, sustainable career path for our employees.

What You’ll Do

Own Program Infrastructure:

Oversee the design, maintenance, and evolution of the AWS career path ecosystem, ensuring scalability and alignment with organizational goals.

Manage Development Programs:

Lead program management for select employee development initiatives, driving execution and continuous improvement.

Collaborate Across Functions:

Partner closely with Staff Planning, Learning & Development, Training, Licensing Programs, and AWS leadership to maintain focus on career path objectives and deliver a seamless employee experience.

Problem Solve & Optimize:

Identify and resolve roadblocks through collaboration, analysis, and innovative solutions to maintain smooth employee throughput.

Reporting & Insights:

Build and maintain dashboards and reports that track employee development journeys, providing actionable insights and progress updates.

Leadership Communication:

Deliver regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment on program performance and priorities.

What you have

Proven (5+ Years) experience in

program management , preferably in employee development or career path initiatives.

Strong ability to

collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders

in a matrixed environment.

Analytical mindset with experience in

data reporting, dashboard creation, and performance tracking .

Excellent

problem-solving skills

and ability to navigate ambiguity with confidence.

Exceptional

communication and presentation skills

for senior leadership engagement.

Additional preferred capabilities:

Experience designing

career architecture/competency frameworks

and job families for service/advisor roles.

Familiarity with

licensing pathways

(e.g., Series 7, 63/66) and advisor readiness programs; ability to align development journeys with credential requirements.

Advanced proficiency in

analytics and visualization tools

(e.g., Power BI, Tableau, advanced Excel) and

data storytelling

for executive audiences.

Demonstrated

change management

capability (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR) to drive adoption of new processes and programs.

Process improvement

mindset (Lean/Six Sigma), including throughput analysis, experiment design, and continuous improvement.

Hands‑on experience with

HR/Learning systems

(e.g., Workday, Cornerstone/Allego, SharePoint) and governance/compliance in a

regulated financial services

environment.

2+ years of previous leadership experience , demonstrating ability to lead teams or initiatives effectively.
