Responsibilities
Apply knowledge of automated information systems (AIS) related to supply (G‑Army AIMS, ISMS, AFMIS, and other systems as required).
Use DoD Publications, Army Regulations (ARs), Army Pamphlets (DA Pams), FAR, Technical Manuals, Performance Work Statement (PWS), and other written publications and directives in the performance of required audits and duties.
Evaluate the implementation and effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and conduct internal audits.
Evaluate supply departments’ performance based on ISO, statutory, regulatory, PWS (contractual), and QMS requirements.
Develop and update internal audit checklists.
Prepare audit reports, evaluate responses, and assist with follow‑up, preventative actions, and corrective actions.
Investigate and track government evaluations and findings; ensure timely response and assist with corrective actions.
Conduct analysis and review problems to determine if they result from human error or systemic issues; recommend courses of action.
Identify areas for improvement and initiate and monitor Opportunities for Improvement (OFIs).
Assist with resolving Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and Preventive Action Requests (PARs).
Perform process and product measurements and analysis consistent with ISO 9001:2015; develop performance metrics and assess Quality Policy and Objectives.
Prepare and update presentation slides; participate in Quality Reviews, Management Reviews, Process Improvement Teams (PITs), and other events.
Use technical writing skills to prepare reports, technical papers, procedures, work instructions, and correspondence; assist with reviewing procedures and flow charts.
Evaluate customer comments and assist with resolution of customer complaints; assess overall customer satisfaction.
Develop training plans and provide training as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Materials & Equipment Directly Used:
Computers, printers, and software products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, TEAMS, etc.); may use hand tools and power tools as needed.
Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent; Bachelors Degree preferred. Formal civilian or military training in supply operations and management desirable; on‑the‑job experience may substitute for formal training. ISO 9001:2015 training highly desired.
Minimum of three years of experience demonstrating professional management, investigative skills, technical skills, and responsible work with sound judgment and analytical ability in the supply field.
Knowledge and experience with analysis of supply functions, storage area operations, ammunition supply point operations, item classification, and related AISs are very desirable.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 highly preferred.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Work primarily in an office environment; may involve warehouse or outdoor work with exposure to extreme climatic conditions.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.; stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, and prolonged sitting required.
