Responsibilities
Coordinate the transportation of company products domestically and internationally via ground, air, and ocean.
Schedule shipments, obtain trucking quotes, manage carrier pickups and deliveries, and monitor shipments, costs, and timelines.
Review international shipping documents (airway bills / seaway bills) for accuracy.
Handle domestic freight claims, perform rate analysis, and assist with internal freight requests across departments.
Monitor inbound and outbound shipments for the company or external customers.
Create commercial and proforma invoices for customs clearance.
Process freight billing using SAP.
Review and code vendor invoices for payment processing, ensuring freight costs are correct.
Provide clerical and administrative support: create spreadsheets, correspondence, reports, and other documents.
Respond to telephone inquiries, organize paperwork, maintain filing systems, handle complaints, track billing activities, and assist with customer billing.
Perform other administrative and logistics duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; education may be deemed sufficient by management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), ability to interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule instructions, and strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and detailed‑oriented skills.
Willingness to work extended hours when required to meet deadlines.
Experience handling large volumes of paperwork and processes in a high‑demand administrative role.
1–3 years of directly related experience.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, sit, kneel, crawl, read, hear, and comply with safety requirements and other customary work environment regulations.
