We are headquartered in Conroe, Texas and we operate a facility in Livermore, California.

We are looking for an Import/Export Coordinator for our Conroe, TX location. This position would report to the Administration Manager.

Coordinate the transportation of company products domestic and international via ground, air, ocean.

Responsible for scheduling shipments, obtaining trucking quotes, carrier pickups and deliveries, monitoring shipments, costs, and timelines.

Review International shipping documents (airway bills / seaway bill) for accuracy.

Handle domestic freight claims, rate analysis, and assist with internal freight request with other departments.

Monitors inbound and outbound shipments for company or external customers.

Create commercial / proforma invoices for customs clearance.

Processes freight billing using SAP.

Review and code vendor invoices for payment processing and ensures freight costs are correct.

Provides clerical and administrative support: creating spreadsheets, correspondence, reports, and other documents.

Responsible for handling telephone inquiries, organizing paperwork, filling system, handling complaints, tracking activities for billing, and customer billing.

Performs a variety of other administrative and logistics duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

Education and Training: High school diploma or as deemed sufficient by management.

Technical Requirements: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel. Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagrammatic or schedule form. Able to organize, prioritize work and multi-task in a fast paced environment and possess excellent communication skills. Able to deal with several abstract and concrete variables simultaneously. Attention to detail and problem solving skills. Willing and able to work extended hours when required to complete projects on time.

Experience in handling large volume of paperwork and processes. Experience working in a high demanding administrative position and very detailed oriented.

Experience: 1-3 years directly related experience.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, sit, kneel, crawl, see, read, hear, have the physical and mental ability to travel independently and the physical and mental ability to comply workshop, with customary office, job site work environments, safety requirements and other customary regulations and requirements in these environments.
