Key Responsibilities
First case inspections – act as an independent observer to assure correct packaging set up across 3 production lines.
In‐process packaging line inspections – conduct one inspection each hour to assure there have been no changes since the first check approval and to assure the production team is capturing and documenting scrap data for daily analysis and reporting.
Daily collection of scrap/ line defect data for reporting % scrap and total quality performance of the production line.
Compiling quality data into charts and graphs using Microsoft Excel.
Accurately compiling statistical data within Microsoft Excel.
Defining quality problems and report all issues with processes or product to management for analysis and disposition.
Inbound and outbound documented inspections – inspect any supplier product that we have experienced quality issues in the past or need to verify Corrective Action. Conduct inspections of outbound product shipments to customers that may need Corrective Action verification.
Verifying the effectiveness of all internal/ external Corrective Actions resulting from Non‑Conformances and close out in business system.
Internal ISO Quality Management system auditor, create and revise quality documents as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
High school diploma required.
Associate's degree in applied science or an Industrial Science field is a plus.
2 years of experience in a Quality related role.
A keen attention to detail, ability to work quickly and accurately, and the ability to follow directions carefully is required.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
