Sourcing Specialist II – Eurofins US Food, Feed & Supplement Testing
Support the NSC Procurement Department for the North America‑based Eurofins companies, reporting to Category Managers and driving sourcing initiatives within assigned categories and projects.
Responsibilities and Key Skills
Managing purchasing activities for specific categories/projects in close coordination with Category Managers and business stakeholders.
Securing significant cost savings while improving quality and delivery times.
Building a project pipeline, leading RFIs/RFQs and negotiating with suppliers.
Influencing and leading change management, including setting up test plans and ensuring adoption of sourcing practices across the organization.
Working autonomously, delivering within deadlines, and driving continuous improvement.
Researching market data, assessing costs, risks and supplier performance.
Analyzing procurement data and trends to identify improvement opportunities and preparing reports and presentations for management.
Integrating supplier diversity, sustainability, cash‑flow improvement, automation, digitization and other organizational measures into sourcing processes.
Negotiating contracts and handling legal and contractual issues.
Adapting priorities and projects to meet Purchasing and business needs.
Managing supplier selection, RFP processes, contracting and performance monitoring.
Creating a strong knowledge base for assigned categories, market dynamics and relevant suppliers.
Maintaining resilience under pressure in multi‑tasking, multi‑priority environments.
Ensuring compliance with national commodity and contracting strategies.
Aligning sourcing processes with project scope, timelines, deliverables, total cost of ownership, quality and budget.
Leading negotiations for multi‑site group contracts and extracting cost savings.
Building and maintaining relationships with external suppliers.
Acting as Purchasing Business Partner and contract point for internal stakeholders.
Providing reporting and ensuring best‑value sourcing for managed spend via Coupa.
Managing e‑catalogue and pricing in the procurement tool and ensuring compliance.
Leading both sourcing and operational scopes in purchasing, including post‑acquisition activity.
