Help Us Raise the Bar on Quality
Join a team that believes inspection is both a craft and a catalyst for improvement. Your purpose is to ensure every part matches its drawing and specification—then feed that insight back into better processes. If you care about accuracy, clarity, and continuous improvement, you’ll fit right in. Impact You’ll Make
Using metrology equipment and your working knowledge of GD&T, you will verify conformance, record results across paper and digital systems, process ERP transactions, and create nonconformance reports that drive action. You’ll also identify ways to streamline inspection and lead small projects that make it happen. Key Responsibilities
Read mechanical drawings to identify nominal dimensions and tolerances Apply basic GD&T callouts—run-out, flatness, true position—during inspection and evaluation Use all Mechanical Inspector I equipment plus micrometers (all types), an optical comparator, and a Mueller gage Assess cosmetic conditions and determine part conformance Complete paper inspection records, electronic records, and execute relevant ERP and process steps Write nonconforming reports with minimal oversight Troubleshoot some CMM outages to minimize downtime Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to visual management rules Demonstrate expert knowledge of relevant QMS documents Offer improvement ideas and lead small improvement projects Collaborate effectively as a team player—positively regarded by peers Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Ability to operate and troubleshoot two types of automated test equipment: Mitutoyo CMM, Zeiss CMM, or Amada Fabrivision Ability to perform basic GD&T measurements (run-out, flatness, true position) using mathematical calculation with a height gage or manual CMM Proficiency
Quality Inspection Experience Tools You’ll Work With
Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) (Zeiss, Mitutoyo) Measurement Gauges Calipers and Micrometers How We Operate
We value openness to feedback from senior inspectors and leaders We expect self-motivation and efficient use of time We rely on visual management and workplace organization to keep quality high Global Contract Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
