Tessera is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician II to support technical operations at USAFA. This role involves advanced installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic systems and equipment used across campus facilities. Typical Duties

Install, configure, and maintain advanced electronic systems including communication and control equipment Diagnose and repair faults in electronic circuits using schematics and diagnostic tools Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure system reliability and compliance Calibrate and test equipment to meet performance standards and operational requirements Collaborate with engineers and senior staff on system upgrades and technical documentation Support emergency repairs, mentor junior technicians, and ensure adherence to safety and USAFA protocols Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in electronics maintenance, troubleshooting, and system integration Associate degree in electronics, electrical engineering technology, or related field preferred Technical certifications in electronics, HVAC controls, or building automation systems highly desirable Familiarity with basic electronic theory, circuit analysis, and diagnostic tools Proficiency interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and automation protocols such as BACnet and Modbus Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Physical Requirements

Reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties Lifting, kneeling, walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods Work under pressure for extended periods Requirements

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance for this position Valid state driver's license required; must be able to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera insurance Access to federal military installation requires a REAL ID‑compliant driver's license or acceptable alternative such as U.S. passport or military ID.
