Civil Engineer – Land Development
Salary:
$80,000 – $135,000 per year

This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving Engineering team, where you will be involved in the planning, design, and management of land development projects. You will be working with a team of skilled professionals, focusing on delivering high-quality engineering solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities
Lead the planning, design, and implementation of land development projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
Utilize CAD and Civil 3D, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis software to create detailed designs and plans.
Conduct and oversee land surveys, grading plans, and site development.
Design and implement drainage and stormwater management systems.
Develop and monitor erosion control plans.
Design roadway and shoring structures, ensuring they meet all safety and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Prepare and present detailed reports and proposals.
Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in land development engineering.
Professional Engineering (PE) license is required, or EIT with ability to obtain PE license within 6-12 months.
Proficiency in CAD, Civil 3D, and other related software.
Experience in drainage, hydrology, erosion control, grading, site development, and land surveying.
Strong knowledge of roadway and shoring design.
Engineering in Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern (E.I.T.) certification is a plus.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead projects from conception to completion.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to solve complex problems and make sound decisions.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
