We are currently seeking a proactive junior mechanical engineer with diverse technical interests and capabilities for “hands‑on” experience. The individual’s primary responsibilities will be to work within the engineering teams to develop hardware for military applications. The engineer will work with multi‑discipline teams across BAE facilities to create advanced products for the defense of the United States. The individual should be self‑starting and able to thrive in a learning environment that encourages leadership and technical growth.

BS in Mechanical Engineering

Motivated self‑starter and problem solver

Detail oriented person with good time management skills to prioritize problems/actions in a team environment

Able to communicate with other engineers, operators, technicians, and managers on scope of efforts and technical solutions to problems

Eligible to obtain a DOD Security Clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

MS in Mechanical Engineering

Shock and/or Vibration experience

3D CAD experience

Knowledge of GD&T principles

Familiarity with mechanical analysis tools

Electro‑Mechanical packaging

Familiarity with standard manufacturing practices

Pay Information Full‑Time Salary Range: $57,866 – $98,372
