Construction Manager-Level 3 - Senior (11 - 15 Years)

Responsible for coordinating and managing construction work performed by contractors and/or vendors at the project site. The role involves assessing productivity, schedule compliance, work quality, and safety performance on the project. It includes managing walkdowns of planned work, validating acceptance of completed work to design requirements, approving contractor payment requests, verifying constructability, ensuring proper resource allocations, assessing field status, and resolving issues as needed. Additionally, the position handles scope control, budget oversight, performance reporting, schedules, and work in progress to ensure Construction Supervisors implement their assignments effectively and achieve desired results. The role provides leadership and coaching to Construction Supervisors and supplemental workforce, communicating departmental, station, and division goals and validating each performer’s ability to impact those goals. Acting as a critical bridge between field operations and customer leadership, the position ensures construction crews and project stakeholders remain aligned, addresses logistical challenges, resolves conflicts, and keeps construction activities on track. The incumbent also surveys and observes contractor Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) practices and provides coaching, direction, and corrective action as needed.

Education Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Power Generation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience 11 - 15 years of experience in power plant commissioning, working with EPC Contractors, engineering firms, and equipment suppliers.
Qualifications Strong understanding of engineering principles related to power plant commissioning.
