Senior Construction Manager - Power Infrastructure
Contract Position | $69/hour | Boulder City, NV | 12 Months
About Our Client Our client is a leading energy infrastructure company specializing in power generation and transmission projects. They are at the forefront of critical energy infrastructure development across the United States, delivering large‑scale construction projects that power communities nationwide.
Position Overview We're seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead power infrastructure construction projects. This role serves as the critical bridge between field operations and project leadership, managing multi‑million dollar construction efforts from conception to completion. The position requires 70% office work and 30% field time, acting as the quarterback for complex energy infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage construction work performed by contractors and vendors at project sites
Assess productivity, schedule compliance, work quality, and safety performance
Manage contractor safety plans and ensure compliance with all safety protocols
Oversee large‑scale commissioning efforts including project scope and risk management
Lead multi‑disciplinary teams ensuring technical and operational excellence
Validate acceptance of completed work to design requirements and approve contractor payments
Conduct project walk‑downs and resolve constructability issues
Manage scope control, budget oversight, performance reporting, and schedules
Lead complex negotiations with EPC contractors and regulatory agencies
Provide leadership and coaching to Construction Supervisors and supplemental workforce
Requirements
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Power Generation, or related field (or equivalent experience)
11-15 years of experience in power plant commissioning and construction management
Extensive experience working with EPC contractors, engineering firms, and equipment suppliers
Strong understanding of engineering principles related to power plant commissioning
Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no alcohol/drug offenses in past 5 years)
Experience with project management software and construction documentation
Strong leadership and communication skills

12‑month contract duration with potential for extension
