Supervisor – Production Maintenance
– Join our team in Coppell, Texas. Reports to Manager/Sr Director Production Tech Support.
Shift hours: Monday‑Friday, 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM (10% shift differential). Eligible for annual bonus.
Qualifications
Associate degree or Technical/Trade School.
5+ years in operation and repair of production equipment.
Proficiency in operation and repair of binder and electronic equipment; electrical circuit experience required.
Electrical and electronics repair a plus.
Knowledge of Jet/IQ reporting tools.
1+ year supervisory experience in a high‑volume production environment.
Responsibilities
Provides direction and mechanical support to all production mechanics as required. Monitors all work in progress ensuring a constant production workflow and that equipment repairs are completed in a timely fashion.
Maintains parts inventory for all equipment by providing a complete list of parts to be ordered, including vendor cost for each part.
Monitors records of preventive maintenance performed on equipment and ensures maintenance occurs according to scheduled deadlines.
Keeps informed of all new technology and equipment used by the technical support and production operations departments.
Fills in and assumes all Management responsibilities in the Department Managers absence.
Accountable to meet or exceed Cost Per Unit targets on his/her shift (i.e. labor costs, overtime, inventory control, etc.).
Monitors and maximizes machine throughput.
Verifies work is filled out properly, monitoring and following departmental procedures.
Rewards, recognizes and disciplines associates.
Maintains all records pertaining to department personnel under individuals report.
