Summary The Entry‑Level Engineer position is designed for individuals beginning their careers who want to build practical engineering skills and solve complex problems in an essential and rapidly growing industry. This role can provide exposure to multiple disciplines including applications engineering, project engineering, and project management. Working under close supervision and alongside experienced engineers, this role will develop technical proficiency in water and wastewater treatment equipment, assist in the design and development of proposals and coordinate internally and externally on the detailed design and fabrication of equipment.
Responsibilities
Work on assigned projects and tasks as directed
Specification review from contractors and engineers
Document preparation, maintenance, and review including budgetary and firm proposals, submittal documentation, and operations and maintenance manuals
Prepare cost estimates
Calculation and interpretation of basic project related calculations and responding to technical clarifications to the customer
Make continuous improvements with the job functions and processes
Collaborate with other internal teams on sales and project strategy
Communicate project details to multi‑functional teams
Other duties as assigned/requested
Skills and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Chemical, Biological Engineering or equivalent
Graduated or In Progress to graduate in May 2026.
Experience: Generally, 0-1 or more years of related experience
Ability to travel (approximately 10%)
Strong math skills
General understanding of chemistry and physics
Excellent computer skills
Detail‑oriented, well organized with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem‑solving skills
Strong analytical skills
Self‑motivated
Excellent time management skills
Ability to follow through on projects
Superior customer service
Willing to learn new processes, equipment, and programs
Work well in a team environment
Physical Requirements
Ability to work at a desk to operate computer/phone system
Frequently required to sit, talk, hear, and see. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision
Regularly required to move around the facilitySome lifting may be involved (50‑70 lbs), specifically when in the warehouse areas
Comply with all safety regulations
