Performs complex maintenance and preventive maintenance duties in support of operations.

Responsibilities

Perform Preventative Maintenance, and extensive equipment repairs on INDUSTRIAL Machinery such as Large Hydraulic Presses, Induction heaters & conveyors independently as prescribed by written and verbal instructions.

Supports advanced mechanic, electricians and other maintenance staff in performing equipment repairs.

Provides guidance to Maintenance 1 and 2 employees.

Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment failures, recommends solutions and conducts repairs.

Documents maintenance activities as required and records time management in database.

Adheres to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations & notifies management of equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.

Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.

Other general duties as directed.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial manufacturing setting.

Proficient with electrical/control circuits from 480V AC to 24V DC.

Knowledge with PLC controls & logic.

Ability to read drawings, schematics and work instructions.

Advanced Knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic control circuits.

Related Technical or engineering degree preferred.

Provides basic tools.

Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
