Performs complex maintenance and preventive maintenance duties in support of operations.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and extensive equipment repairs on industrial machinery such as large hydraulic presses, induction heaters & conveyors independently as prescribed by written and verbal instructions.
Support advanced mechanic, electricians and other maintenance staff in performing equipment repairs.
Provide guidance to Maintenance 1 and 2 employees.
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures, recommend solutions and conduct repairs.
Document maintenance activities as required and record time management in database.
Adhere to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations & notify management of equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.
Maintain work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.
Other general duties as directed.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial manufacturing setting.
Proficient with electrical/control circuits from 480V AC to 24V DC.
Knowledge with PLC controls & logic.
Ability to read drawings, schematics and work instructions.
Advanced knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic control circuits.
Related technical or engineering degree preferred.
Provides basic tools.
Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
