Position Summary The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing maintenance and repair operations related to aircraft fuel systems. This position ensures work is performed in accordance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and customer requirements. Supervisors report to the assigned Facility Manager or OCC Manager/Director and are accountable for directing maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alteration tasks while providing hands‑on support and guidance to technicians.

This position requires full compliance with

14 CFR Part 145.153 , including certification under

Part 65

and familiarity with all maintenance methods, tools, and procedures used in aircraft fuel system maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and train technicians performing fuel tank maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alteration tasks

Ensure all maintenance is performed in accordance with approved technical data, company procedures, and FAA requirements

Provide consultation, direction, and oversight for maintenance personnel unfamiliar with assigned tasks

Verify that all work performed is properly documented, signed off, and turned over accurately during shift changes or reassignments

Ensure compliance with confined space entry procedures and safety protocols

Confirm that tools, test equipment, and maintenance data used are appropriate, current, and properly maintained

Assign maintenance tasks only to personnel with proper experience, knowledge, or training

Train, assist, and supervise technicians in correct maintenance practices and repair techniques

Ensure maintenance records and OJT documentation are completed accurately and submitted to the Training Department

Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure the proper handling and tagging of parts

Ensure all customer requirements are met and applicable documentation is properly filled out

Delegate duties to qualified personnel while maintaining overall accountability for outcomes

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Facility Manager

Maintain awareness of applicable

FAR Parts 145, 65, and 43

regulations

Work flexible schedules and perform tasks in confined spaces as required

Required Qualifications

FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required

Minimum of 4 years of aircraft fuel system maintenance experience

Strong working knowledge of aircraft fuel tank maintenance procedures, practices, and technical data

Ability to supervise and train personnel effectively in a hands‑on environment

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Preferred Skills

Proven ability to teach and mentor technicians

Experience leading maintenance operations within a repair station environment
