Position Overview
Join our team as a Full-Time Traveling Heavy Equipment Mechanic where every day will bring new challenges and opportunities for growth. You will have the chance to work onsite, diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment while traveling to different job sites. Pay Range: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at S.J. Louis, you will immerse yourself in the thrill of working in diverse outdoor environments, overcoming challenges, and contributing to the seamless operation of our equipment. Your daily tasks include: Perform preventive maintenance and inspection of heavy equipment models such as Caterpillar and Komatsu. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel, and gasoline systems. Engage in minimal welding and collaborate with our proactive team to meet project demands efficiently. Follow procedures and managerial direction with strong attention to detail. Qualifications & Requirements
Comprehensive understanding of construction equipment maintenance (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel, gasoline). Experience in heavy equipment repairs and diagnostics. Proficiency in working with hydraulics and electrical systems. Class A or B CDL license with a clean driving record. Ability to follow procedures and managerial direction. Strong attention to detail. Ability to travel on a regular rotation schedule with ease. Benefits & Compensation
