Traveling Apprentice Electrician

The Role We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Traveling Apprentice Electrician to fill multiple roles through our traveling projects in multiple states. The Electrical Apprentice will install, maintain, and troubleshoot multiple types of electrical systems found in commercial and industrial locations and work under a licensed Journeyman. Our ideal candidate is eager to learn, possesses a strong work ethic, and has a genuine interest in pursuing a career as an electrician. Responsibilities
Perform regular installation of electrical duties
Work with and assist electricians on more difficult projects
Perform electrical wiring or repair work
Read blueprints
Requirements
Background & Drug Screening : Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Travel : Must be willing to travel nationwide up to 85% of the time.
Travel Pay : When assigned to travel you will additionally be compensated with weekly Per-Diem, Milage, and Travel time.
Orientation : First days of orientation and training will take place in Fort Worth, TX (Required).
Experience : 4-10 years as an Apprentice or Tradesman in a commercial setting.
Education : High School Diploma or GED required; 5+ years of experience in heavy commercial electrical work strongly recommended.
Technical Skills : Experience with conduit bends, wire pulls, high-voltage circuits, generators, transformers, and switchgear.
Blueprints & Codes : Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, specifications, codes, and electrical formulas.
Safety & Certifications : Apprentice license required; OSHA 10 or 30 preferred; knowledge of OSHA lock-out / tag-out, NFPA-70E, and National Electrical Code.
ID Requirements : Must have two valid forms of ID for employment.
Preferred Training : At least 4 hours of formal NFPA-70E training, including arc-flash dynamics, hazard analysis, and PPE requirements.
