Ensure a healthy and safe work environment
Maintain exceptional 5S / Housekeeping standards
Execute and enforce all manufacturing standards, process, and procedures
Execute the Quality Management System to meet customer requirements and operational goals
Help develop work instructions with the team, and train to the standard.
Ensure all team leaders are maintaining required certifications.
Understand, teach, and coach Lean principles and engage all employees in continuous improvement activities
Supervise, coach, develop and lead by example
Meet, or exceed manufacturing goals for safety, quality, delivery, cost, scrap and productivity
Lead, and implement cost reduction ideas
Implement and maintain communication with employees, team leaders, other shift supervisors, and shifts daily
Perform daily and weekly audits, metrics reports, and supervisor standardized work
Ensure seamless engineering and process changes into production
Conduct disciplinary interviews and issue corrective action when necessary
Record and maintain employee attendance and timekeeping
Assist in customer complaint resolution
Ensure inventory accuracy, and perform necessary cycle counts (WIP)
Position Requirements
Ability to work any shift
Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
Self Motivator who works well under pressure
Knowledge of basic manufacturing principles including Lean, Just-in-Time (JIT) Systems
Preferred – 3+ Years experience with injection molding
