Job Description
Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial electrical applications in accordance with Texas building codes.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate and correct breakdowns.
Inspect electrical systems and equipment to identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs, ensuring compliance with all electrical codes.
Test electrical systems and circuit continuity using ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure safety and compatibility.
Perform physically demanding tasks such as digging trenches for conduit, moving and lifting heavy objects, and crawling through small spaces like attics.
Willingness to learn Milestone's system.
Qualifications
Must possess a Master, Journeyman, or Wireman License issued by the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation.
Minimum of 1 year of residential electrical experience.
Clean driving record and current valid driver’s license.
Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Excellent work ethic and leadership abilities.
Works well in a team environment.
Physical and Mental Requirements
Lift and move items weighing 75 pounds or more regularly; lift 40–50 pounds on raised surfaces.
Climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently for extended periods.
Work in cramped or high places such as attics, ladders, and tunnels.
Carry heavy items up and down stairs.
Operate in extreme weather conditions: heat, rain, snow, or sleet.
Apply critical thinking, problem‑solving, and technical vocabulary to understand directions and adhere to procedures.
Adapt well to workplace stressors such as customer service complaints.
Complete a job physical assessment.
