Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output targets and schedules.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications for all manufactured products.
Manage, train, and motivate production staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Monitor production processes for efficiency, identifying and implementing improvements to optimize output and reduce waste.
Troubleshoot production issues and equipment malfunctions, coordinating with maintenance as needed.
Maintain accurate production records and reports on output, quality, and downtime.
Recommended Qualifications
Proven experience in a manufacturing production environment, with prior supervisory or team lead responsibilities.
Strong leadership and team management skills, including coaching, scheduling, and performance management.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control systems.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot production issues, optimize workflows, and drive efficiency.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean/Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification
Proficiency with common ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex)
Bilingual fluency (e.g., Spanish) relevant to the local workforce
Basic mechanical or electrical troubleshooting skills for production equipment
