We are seeking an Inspector to perform final inspections on welded and machined product ends, ensuring compliance with quality standards and maintaining accurate daily inspection logs.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform final inspections on welded and machined product ends to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Interpret and communicate inspection results clearly to production personnel.
Maintain accurate daily inspection logs, including quantities inspected and categorized non‑conformances.
Adhere to all NOV safety, quality, and HSE procedures.
Job Duties
Interpret inspection results and report findings appropriately to production staff.
Record daily totals of inspected welded or machined ends and document non‑conformances by category.
Apply serialization to material using a hammer and steel stamps.
Read and interpret technical product drawings for acceptance criteria.
Utilize measuring equipment (dial calipers, micrometers, pit gauges, tape measures, etc.) to determine product acceptance.
Stand and work in indoor and outdoor environments for at least 8 hours.
Perform extensive walking, bending, stooping, and moderate to heavy lifting.
Comply with all NOV, company, and HSE policies and procedures.
Education and Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Must achieve at least 80% on a basic math and reading comprehension exam.
Basic computer skills required for data entry and reporting.
Must pass an Industrial Eye Exam with near visual acuity.
