Position Summary The Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily field operations to ensure construction activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and company standards. This role serves as the primary on‑site leader for assigned crews, providing direction, leadership, and technical guidance. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to drive productivity while maintaining high‑quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise, direct, and coordinate daily work activities of assigned field crews.

Plan and assign work based on project priorities, schedules, and crew skill levels.

Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Enforce TQ Constructors’ safety policies, OSHA regulations, and jobsite safety requirements.

Work with on‑site Safety Manager to support daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and job hazard analyses (JHAs).

Serve as the primary point of contact between field crews and project management.

Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and other trades on‑site.

Monitor productivity and assist with labor planning and manpower needs.

Track labor hours, materials, and equipment usage; submit accurate daily reports and timecards.

Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize delays and rework.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

5–7+ years of experience in construction, welding, fabrication, piping, or related trades.

Previous experience leading crews or working in a supervisory role.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Strong understanding of construction means and methods.

Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast‑paced field environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice‑to‑Have)

Prior Foreman or Lead experience on industrial or commercial construction projects.

Trade certifications or welding certifications (as applicable).

OSHA 30 certification.

Experience with daily reporting, production tracking, and scheduling.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Strong field leadership and crew management skills.

Safety‑focused mindset with attention to detail.

Clear communicator who fosters teamwork and accountability.

Results‑driven with the ability to adapt to changing jobsite conditions.

Problem‑solver who takes ownership of field execution.

Work Schedule Full‑time position. Work hours vary based on project needs and may include early mornings, overtime, evenings, or weekends. This position is primarily based on a 2nd shift work schedule and will require travel to on‑site location(s). Per Diem is provided for those 60 miles from the destination location.
