Responsibilities
Serve as technical representative for systems engineering methodologies, tools and processes.
Lead and/or participate in design, development, and integration of systems, subsystems and components from concept to sustainment.
Conduct detailed analysis and modeling of systems, including performance, effectiveness, and vulnerability assessments.
Develop and maintain system specifications, technical documentation and engineering drawings.
Develop and execute test plans and procedures to verify system performance and compliance.
Analyze test data, identify performance issues, and recommend corrective actions.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers and team members.
Stay abreast of advancements in technologies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and present technical reports, presentations, and briefings to internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
3+ years of systems engineering experience on complex systems.
2 years experience using modern digital engineering tools and processes.
In‑depth knowledge of system-of-systems and design principles.
Commanding understanding of engineering principles and processes.
Proficiency with digital engineering software/tools (MATLAB, Atlassian, ANSYS, CAMEO, Team Work Cloud, CAD software, AFSIM, etc.).
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of relevant military standards and specifications.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Desired Skills
Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools, Python scripting.
Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Clearance Requirements
Must possess an active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
