Electrical Foreman – Commercial Construction
Position Overview We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our Commercial Construction team as an Electrical Foreman for projects in the Charlottesville and surrounding areas. In this role, you will lead the installation of your assigned electrical project, training and teaching apprentices and helpers.

Responsibilities
Supervise personnel completing electrical building projects
Assign tasks, inspect electricians’ work, monitor team performance, read blueprints, maintain quality standards, and handle customer relations
Apply thorough knowledge of the electrical trade, including cutting, bending, threading and installing EMT conduit of all sizes
Master bend offsets: 3‑point, 4‑point, saddles, kicks, 90° angles, etc.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, submittals and construction drawings
Assist in hooking up/terminating electrical panels, setting fixtures, and installing various electrical devices
Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to blueprints and coordination drawings
Instruct and mentor helpers and apprentices in all above tasks
Maintain a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Journeyman or Master electrician card preferred
Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop others
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic computer and technology proficiency
Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities
Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments
Strong attention to detail
Commitment to safety and adherence to established protocols
