Operations Manager @ IASCO Flight Training | Principal Designated School Official SEVP
IASCO Flight Training (IFT) is a long-established FAA Part 141 academy specializing in professional, domestic and international airline cadet training for partners in the U.S., China, and Hong Kong. We are expanding our leadership team and seeking a motivated, safety-focused Chief Flight Instructor to lead our instructional staff, strengthen standardization, and ensure compliance across FAA, CAAC, and CAD regulatory frameworks.
The Chief Flight Instructor is responsible for the leadership, standardization, compliance, and overall quality of IASCO’s Part 141 and Part 61 training programs. This includes supervising and developing flight instructors, conducting stage checks and proficiency evaluations, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing training records, and maintaining a strong safety culture.
This role is ideal for a safety-driven aviation professional who enjoys mentoring CFIs, writing and refining technical documents, participates in Safety Management System (SMS) processes and safety meetings, and staying actively involved in flight instruction by prioritizing standardization of instructors and continuous oversight using methods such as frequent lesson observation and back seating.
Hold a FAA Commercial Pilot (Single & Multi-Engine, Instrument).
Hold a FAA CFI, CFII, MEI required.
