Service Technician & Mechanic – Diesel Engine Rebuilder
Position summary
All Crane Service, LLC is seeking a Service Technician & Mechanic – Diesel Engine Rebuilder. This is a full‑time, non‑exempt position located in Independence, OH. It comes with a comprehensive benefits package and a $300 sign‑on bonus after 100 days of continuous employment.
Essential functions
Disassemble, clean and reassemble engines and/or engine components.
Perform preventative maintenance based on engine assessment.
Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed.
Read, understand and interpret operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Maintain positive interface with service writers, supervisor, parts department and customers.
Prepare proper documentation of actions taken.
Work with diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.
Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and experience requirements
Previous experience with Cummins engines and INSITE software is a plus.
Strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
Strong diesel engine background.
Basic set of mechanic’s hand tools.
Ability to work safely around moving machinery and in conditions with marked changes in temperature & humidity.
Able to lift 50 lbs.
