3+ years of Civil Inspecting and Quality Control experience. Work with Residential and Commercial Land Development Projects.
Position Overview:
The Civil Inspector is responsible for overseeing construction projects and ensuring compliance with engineering standards, specifications, and regulations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining quality control throughout the construction process, particularly in land development and water pipeline projects.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and engineering documents.
Monitor the quality of materials used in construction and ensure they meet required standards.
Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports on project progress and compliance issues.
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues found during inspections.
Ensure that all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Assist in the development of quality assurance and quality control procedures for construction projects.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Civil Inspector or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality control standards.
Familiarity with land development and water infrastructure projects.
Certifications in quality assurance or inspection (e.g., ICC, ACI) are a plus.
