Property Accountant
to join its growing finance team. The firm operates a high-volume, fast-paced platform with both investment and development arms, and has strong growth plans over the next several years. This role is open due to a recent departure and offers significant exposure to senior leadership, including direct interaction with the CFO. The CFO is known to be highly approachable and invested in mentoring—making this a great opportunity for an accountant looking to grow their skill set and career within real estate finance. Key Responsibilities Manage the monthly close process for multiple assigned properties Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash activity Track tenant receivables and support AR-related activity Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules Process accounts payable, including vendor setup and invoice entry Review monthly P&L statements and perform variance analysis Prepare financial reporting packages for internal stakeholders Assist with lender and investor reporting requests Support year-end audits and ad hoc accounting projects Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required) 2+ years of accounting experience (real estate experience strongly preferred) Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting Strong interpersonal and communication skills Seniority level:
