Tarvos Talent is seeking a sharp and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst for a contract opportunity in the Austin area. This role offers the chance to step in quickly, support critical accounting and financial analysis functions, and make an immediate impact.
In this role, you’ll support core accounting and audit-related activities, assist with financial analysis, and perform detailed reconciliations across accounts. You’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure data accuracy, meet tight deadlines, and support reporting and audit initiatives, all while maintaining strong documentation and communication throughout the process.
The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of accounting or related experience, with very strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivots, VLOOKUPs, and similar functions. A detail-oriented mindset, the ability to quickly ramp up in new environments, and comfort working under pressure are essential. Prior audit or financial analysis experience is highly valued, with reconciliation experience a strong plus.
