Business Analyst IV Location: Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Long‑term contract position in the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive requirements elicitation sessions to identify business needs and translate them into actionable deliverables.

Collaborate with project managers and product owners to drive the successful implementation of functional and technical solutions.

Create detailed documentation for processes, procedures, and requirements to support project goals and organizational strategies.

Analyze and map business processes to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations.

Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless communication and project execution.

Lead efforts related to defect resolution and quality assurance for project deliverables.

Manage stakeholder relationships across diverse teams, including business, IT, and customers.

Facilitate the integration of solutions with existing policy administration systems and other platforms.

Drive initiatives related to billing, pricing, and underwriting operations within the insurance domain.

Ensure that project outcomes align with strategic priorities and deliver measurable business value.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis within the insurance industry.

Proven ability to lead Agile projects and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Expertise in eliciting and documenting requirements from senior stakeholders.

Strong communication skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint and written documentation.

Familiarity with billing, pricing, and underwriting operations processes.

Experience with integration and end‑to‑end solutions, particularly within policy administration systems.

Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team‑oriented environment.

Demonstrated leadership skills and proactive problem‑solving abilities.
