Responsibilities
Perform capital and reimbursable project administration to ensure adherence with company policies.
Prepare reimbursable invoices for accuracy and compliance with contractual terms; collaborate with the project manager and 3rd party to ensure timely collection.
Support application modifications affecting property applications and processes through system testing and defect resolution.
Support monthly/quarterly/annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and meeting the 4-day month-end close deadline.
Prepare and document detailed fixed asset transactions including unitizations, retirements, allocations, and journal entries for management review.
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with established timelines.
Assist with ad-hoc analysis and special reporting as needed.
Skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with strong emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
Strong relationship management skills with internal and external partners
Abilities
Basic computer skills, particularly in Oracle, Excel, Smartsheet, and related tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and structured workflow guides
Need to Have
Curious self-starter with hands-on general accounting experience
Customer service/executive presence; interacts with internal PMs, stakeholders, and external POCs
General ledger, reconciliation, month-end close
Accounting around intangible assets: retirements, transfers, reclasses, journal entries, cost of benefits, reimbursable benefits
Nice to Have
Reimbursable/3rd-party billing experience
Contract billing; ability to read/interpret contracts for billing
General billing experience
Experience working with government agencies on reimbursable projects
Summary A curious, independent, hard-working professional with 2–3 years of experience in general ledger, ERP, billing, journal entries, and reconciliation.
