Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $150,000 to $180,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities
Direct all core accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
Ensure adherence to GAAP standards and maintain strong internal controls.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic financial initiatives and process improvements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline; CPA preferred.
A minimum of 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting exposure.
Previous background in manufacturing required; aerospace experience.
Proficiency with ERP systems, ideally NetSuite, and advanced Excel skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications
Ability to manage large data sets and deliver accurate reporting under tight deadlines.
Skilled in implementing and optimizing ERP systems and financial tools.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and compliance standards.
Proven ability to lead and develop accounting teams effectively.
Demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential financial information.
