You are the face of our company to many customers and non‑customers alike. Processing routine financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, advances, loan payments, merchant transactions, etc.) and giving a warm welcome to everyone who comes into the branch are key performances of your position. Helping customers meet their financial goals by informing them of products and services to meet their individual needs is your passion.

Base pay range $19.00/hr – $21.60/hr

Cash Handling & Customer Service

Provide an exceptional customer experience.

Deliver personalized customer service and consistently look for ways to “WOW” customers.

Tackle a variety of financial transactions ranging from check cashing & cash deposits to loan payments to counting currency and coin accurately.

Maintain accurate records of each customer in accordance with the bank’s policies and procedures.

Answer customer questions with a can‑do attitude, no matter how complex or technical.

Comply with all security procedures and bank regulations that apply to your position.

Maintain a working knowledge of our policies and procedures that apply to your position.

Safeguard assigned, branch and customer cash according to Security Procedures.

Deposit Product Referrals

Hold financial conversations to determine needs and refer appropriate solutions.

Identify referral opportunities to maintain relationships and add value for all customers.

Actively cross‑sell bank products and services.

Participate in branch or bank‑wide campaigns.

Maintain and submit customer referrals and reports as required.

Work as a team to meet and exceed individual and team goals.

Minimum Qualifications Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Teller I Requirements

6 months or more of experience in cash handling and customer service.

Teller II Requirements

1+ year(s) of experience in cash handling and customer service.

1+ year(s) of experience in a Financial Institution and/or Teller experience.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

Must be able to perform light physical work and to move or lift items—including but not limited to boxes, files and papers—up to 20 pounds unless otherwise indicated.

Must be able to operate and proficiently use standard office equipment, including phone, copier, personal computer and other work‑related mechanical or electronic devices and applications.

Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers; must also be able to hear sufficiently to engage in daily discussions and interactions.

Must be able to read and understand bank‑related documents.

Must be able to work in a conventional office setting, involving sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods; must also be able to adapt to different work environments as needed to perform the job.
