Project Manager & Cost Controller
to take charge of multiple fabrication, heavy engineering and construction projects. This hybrid role blends hands‑on project delivery with advanced commercial and financial oversight.

Description The Project Manager & Cost Controller is responsible for leading the planning, financial oversight, delivery, and commercial performance of multiple EDMS Australia projects. The role integrates project management with cost control, forecasting, risk management, and contract administration. Projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to specification, while maintaining strong stakeholder communication and commercial governance.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead day‑to‑day project execution.
Develop project schedules, resource plans, and progress reporting.
Control budgets, cost forecasts, financial tracking, and invoicing.
Review contracts, prepare variations, and negotiate with clients.
Oversee procurement and subcontractor coordination.
Drive WHS compliance and quality assurance.
Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and clients.
What You’ll Bring
5+ years’ project management experience in fabrication, heavy engineering, or construction.
Strong commercial acumen and financial reporting skills.
Ability to read engineering drawings & technical specifications.
Experience leading teams and managing site activities.
Proficiency in MS Project, MS Office, and MYOB EXO (advantageous).
Mandatory: Engineering trade qualification, G2, S1/S2/S3, White Card, Driver’s Licence.
