First-year target earnings:
$120,000–$150,000+
(salary + production-based incentives)
Upside:
Increases with AUM growth and production over time
Full benefits package (medical, 401(k) match, PTO), all marketing and office costs covered by the firm
The Firm Independent RIA with over $300M in assets under management and a comparable amount in insurance business. The focus is pre‑retirees and retirees, with a strong marketing engine (seminars, workshops, events) feeding a steady stream of prospects.
This is a
“walk into a system”
role, not a “build it all from scratch” situation.
The Role You’ll be the primary face of the planning process for higher‑net‑worth households:
Lead
first and second appointments
with prospects generated by firm marketing
Serve as the
primary seminar/workshop presenter
for the Peoria office
Drive
retirement income planning , including the use of
fixed indexed annuities (FIAs)
Keep and manage larger relationships (typically
$500k+
investable)
Partner with an in‑office Service Advisor and Relationship Manager for onboarding and ongoing service
Work fully
in‑office in Peoria , with
occasional evening events
for workshops
Requirements
Licenses:
Series 65 and Life & Health
Experience:
7+ years in financial planning/wealth management
Track record:
Clear history of
new asset gathering and deal closure
Comfortable presenting to groups (20–50+), with strong discovery and closing skills
Experience with
insurance‑based planning and FIAs
High integrity, humility, and a client‑first mindset
Willing to own details (CRM, paperwork, follow‑up) in partnership with operations
